Types of Sounds

There are three types of sounds :
1. Audible Sound
2. Infrasonic Sound
3. Ultrasonic Sound

1.Audible Sound - If the frequency of sound is between 20Hz to 20,000Hz, that sound can produce sensation on human ear. A normal human being can hear this type of sound.

2.Infrasonic Sound - Sound having frequency less than 20Hz is called infrasonic sound. We cannot hear such sound.

3.Ultrasonic Sound - Sound having frequency more than 20kHz is called ultrasonic sound.
